SEO · Tenerife and the Canary Islands

Local SEO in Tenerife, so customers find you, not your competitors

Local SEO for businesses in the Canary Islands: a Google Business Profile, a site Google can actually index, and content in the languages your customers search in. No promises of "page one in a week", instead, a clear plan and a report on what changed.

Why this works differently in the Canaries

In Tenerife a customer types "plumber Adeje", "fisioterapeuta Los Cristianos" or "English-speaking dentist Tenerife" into Google, and the first thing they see is a map with three business listings. If you're not on it, the rest of the page doesn't matter. Then there's the language mix: the same customer searches once in Spanish, once in English, and Polish residents search in Polish. SEO in the Canaries is above all a proper Google Business Profile, a site that doesn't block indexing, and content in three languages aimed at real local searches, not buying links.

Who it's for

  • Service businesses that want to show up on Google Maps in their area
  • Practices, salons and clinics competing in the resorts (Adeje, Los Cristianos, Puerto de la Cruz)
  • Apartments and villas that want direct traffic instead of relying on portals alone
  • Shops and businesses that have a website but "aren't on Google"
  • Polish-run businesses in the Canaries looking for customers from Poland and from the island

What's included

  • Technical site audit: indexing, speed, errors, mobile
  • Google Business Profile: categories, services, photos, posts, review replies
  • Keyword research in EN / ES / PL for your area and trade
  • Page optimisation: titles, descriptions, headings, structured data

    Local content

Pages for your areas and services, posts that answer real customer questions, in the languages they search in.

  4. 4

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does SEO cost in Tenerife?

A one-off audit with a plan: €290. Ongoing local SEO: from €290 a month, with a 3-month agreement to start. That's what makes sense for a small business: enough for the listing, the fixes and 1–2 pieces of content a month.

How long until I see results?

A Google Business Profile can start moving in 2–4 weeks. The site and content, usually 2–4 months, depending on the competition in your area. Anyone promising faster is either buying links or not telling you the whole truth.

Can I order just the audit and do the rest myself?

Yes, and many clients do. The audit is written so it can be implemented without a developer wherever possible; the technical bits I can do separately.

Do you do SEO for sites you didn't build?

Yes, WordPress, Wix, Shopify, whatever it is. Sometimes the audit shows that the platform itself is blocking SEO, and then I'll tell you honestly whether it's cheaper to fix it or build a new one.

Do you handle Google Ads too?

I can set up a basic local campaign and hook up conversion tracking, but SEO and the Google listing are my main specialty. If you need large ad budgets, I'll recommend someone who does only that.
