Web design and development in Tenerife, business websites built on the island, not from a template

A business website that loads in a fraction of a second, looks right on a phone and can actually be found on Google in Tenerife. No Wix templates, no agency lock-in, the code, the domain and the content stay yours. I work in English, Spanish and Polish, and if it helps, we can meet for a coffee in Los Cristianos.

Why this works differently in the Canaries

In the Canary Islands most customers look for services on their phone, often on a weak signal and in several languages at once. A site that opens slowly or has no Spanish and English version loses them before they get to read what you offer. Then there are the local details: IGIC instead of IVA on invoices, a +34 phone number, WhatsApp as the main contact channel and a Google Business Profile that, for a small business, often matters more than the website itself. I build sites that take all of this into account from day one, because I run a business here myself.

Who it's for

  • Trades and services: plumbers, electricians, cleaning, gardeners, renovations
  • Practices, clinics, physiotherapy, beauty salons and hairdressers
  • Restaurants, cafĂ©s, food trucks and catering
  • Consultants, gestorĂas, estate agents, translators
  • Language schools, instructors, personal trainers
  • Polish-run businesses in the Canaries that want a site in Polish and Spanish

What's included

  • Design and build in Next.js, no off-the-shelf templates
  • Mobile version as the starting point, not an afterthought
  • Contact form with email notifications and a WhatsApp button
  • Basic SEO: titles, descriptions, heading structure, sitemap
  • Google Maps business listing set-up (if you don't have one yet)
  • Hosting and domain for the first year included
  • User guide and post-launch support via WhatsApp
How it works

From quote to launch in four steps

  1. 1

A chat and a quote within 24 hours

You describe your business and what the site needs to do. You get a concrete quote with a defined scope, not "it depends".

  2. 2

    Structure and content

We agree on the pages and gather photos and copy. If you don't have any copy, I suggest what to write, or quote for preparing it separately.

  3. 3

    Design and build

The site is built, you get a preview to approve, then revisions. Usually 2–3 weeks from receiving the materials.

  4. 4

    Launch and care

Domain connected, Google Business Profile, user guide. After that I'm a message away, changes and small fixes without waiting for a "support department".

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost in Tenerife?

With me, a one-page site starts at €590 and a multi-page business website in two languages at €1,490. Agencies on the island usually charge more and overseas freelancers less, but then you have nobody on the ground who knows how things work in Spain and picks up the phone in your time zone.

I have no copy or photos. What then?

I suggest a structure and the questions your site should answer, most clients then write the copy themselves in an evening. If you'd rather not, I quote for preparing the content separately. Photos can be taken with a phone; I'll show you how.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Yes, you edit text, photos, blog posts and news without touching any code. Bigger layout changes are done by me, either as part of the care plan or as a one-off.

Will the site be in Spanish and English?

The business package includes two languages; each additional one is a paid extra. A Spanish version is almost always worth having, it's the main language of customers and of Google in the Canary Islands.

Why Next.js and not WordPress?

Because a Next.js site is faster, doesn't need monthly plugin updates and isn't as easy to hack. For you that means fewer breakdowns and better results on Google, without having to understand what's under the hood.

What if I want online bookings later?

The site is built so that a booking form, a calendar or a full booking system can be added without rewriting everything from scratch. That's the most common path my clients take.

I'm on mainland Spain, not in the Canaries. Is that a problem?

No. Most of the work happens remotely anyway, WhatsApp, email and video calls. In Tenerife we can meet in person, but I look after clients in Málaga or Alicante the same way. The one difference: the Canaries use IGIC and the mainland uses IVA, and I set that up correctly in forms and invoices.
